Discovery Bridge Groundbreaking Ceremony

With the scenic Missouri River as their backdrop, a wide variety of Nebraska and South Dakota officials welcomed construction of the new Discovery Bridge Wednesday during a groundbreaking ceremony.

Discovery Bridge

The final name chosen was submitted by David Spencer from Yankton, South Dakota. David will be one of the first to drive over the new bridge!

Thank you all for your opinions and input on the 10 final bridge names. The committee appreciates all of your help in this process of naming the new bridge.
